I'm Rev. Stacy Swimp. During my life's journey, I faced many impossible odds such as incarceration, homelessness, and parental rights discrimination; however, through faith, prayer, and perseverance, I overcame the obstacles set before me. Now my purpose is to help you do the same.

"Rev. Swimp, thank you for your wealth of knowledge and resources that you are always willing to share! Anytime that I have called with a question or a dilemma you have been willing and able to assist. You are truly a man of your word! Thank you for your passion!" - Yolanda Brown Community/Parent Liaison Northridge Academy, Flint, MI
"Rev. Stacy Swimp is a man of God with a servant's heart. He unapologetically preaches the word of God. He humbly lives his life to be a mighty vessel for the Lord. He brings all his gifts, talents, and testimony to the work he does in the community with the underserved. Every sermon I was blessed to hear contained a powerful message that resonated with me." - Julia Freeman, Director of Community Engagement, Voices for Racial Justice, Minnesota
I first encountered Rev. Stacy Swimp when he wrote an Op-ed in M-live advocating justice on behalf of African-Americans working in building trades industries. He struck me as someone who thought differently concerning race and politics. I’ve always been an independent and found his writing thought provoking and challenging. When I saw that he also lived in Flint, I sought him out to, as we say, “chop it up” about politics and the predicament of African Americans in the United States. That was nearly ten years ago and personally I have come to know Stacy to be forthright, willing to admit when he is wrong, and always ready to lend a hand to help those in need. Stacy’s commitment to stand for truth and walk in integrity is derived from his conviction to serve the Lord Jesus and forward the kingdom. I have seen Stacy transition when the truth is at stake and hold the line on how the Bible dictates Christians should live as strangers and exiles on this Earth. As a result, areas of importance to are Jesus, family, and love of neighbor. I appreciate that he is outgoing, open to communicate, and pursues his goals tenaciously. Stacy is skilled at being well-informed and is a constant advocate for what’s right." - Pastor Demitrius Hunter, Senior Pastor, It's Christ Our Hope Church, Flint, MI
"I have known Mr. Swimp for over a decade and I have witnessed both his professional acumen as well as his community involvement and engagement. I was fortunate enough to serve as a mentor in a leadership group in Saginaw where Stacy demonstrated extraordinary leadership skills but more importantly a desire to do more for so many. He created a group, Muenda, that served not just the community’s youth but for those citizens returning back from our criminal justice system. Stacy has this wonderful capability of reaching out and resonating with practically anyone regardless of race, creed, color or political differences. His personality is infectious and his dedication to his son is admirable. I believe Stacy has the talent to change not just people but communities." - Jimmy Greene, Saginaw Michigan, Founder of the Saginaw Valley African American Leadership Institute and Co-Founder of The Henry Marsh Institute for Public Policy - Saginaw Valley State University
